Capability is earned. A good tool helps you earn it.
SideAcre is a Minnesota product-development company. It grew from more than two decades of learning by doing: raising chickens, making maple syrup, farming, gardening, hunting, planting food plots, maintaining land, and tackling the ordinary repairs and projects that keep a place running.
Starting from scratch teaches you where instructions become vague, where tools become needlessly complicated, and where people quietly invent their own workarounds. Those overlooked moments are where SideAcre looks for product ideas.
“We do not sell expertise in a box. We build useful tools that help people develop their own.”
For the curious, busy, and determined.
Many people pursue outdoor skills or homesteading alongside a career and family. Their time is limited, but their reasons run deep: self-reliance, better food, connection with nature, family tradition, stress relief, or simply the satisfaction of becoming more capable.
SideAcre is not only for beginners. We follow the need. If an experienced hunter, gardener, or homesteader has an important problem that existing products ignore, that problem deserves a thoughtful look.
How we operate
Practical integrity
Products must solve real problems and work as represented.
No gimmicks
Nothing we sell should imply that effort, judgment, or experience can be skipped.
Focused simplicity
We define the job clearly and resist complexity that does not improve it.
Honest scope
We would rather serve a specific customer well than make a vague promise to everyone.
Evidence over attachment
Ideas may come from experience. Customer evidence decides what gets built.
Human relationships
Technology keeps the company lean; people remain responsible for judgment, quality, customers, and partners.
